Savannah Guthrie Gives First Interview Since Mother’s Disappearance

Savannah Guthrie shared that her family is in “agony” after her mother, Nancy Guthrie, was reportedly abducted from her Arizona home on February 1. In an emotional interview preview on Today with Hoda Kotb, she described the situation as “unbearable,” saying she wakes nightly imagining her mother’s fear.

Authorities, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, have been investigating for weeks with few breakthroughs. Evidence suggests Nancy may have been taken around 2:30 a.m., when her pacemaker last synced. A masked suspect was seen on security footage, and ransom letters were sent but led nowhere.

The family has offered a $1 million reward for information. Investigators are now exploring new leads, including a nearby vacant home that may be connected. Meanwhile, Guthrie has stepped away from her hosting duties as the search continues.
