Trump Says Iran Conflict Nearing End As U.S. Military Objectives Are Met

President Donald Trump said U.S. operations have significantly weakened Iran’s military, claiming its navy, air force, and leadership structure have been largely dismantled. He outlined goals such as preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons and protecting allied nations, while describing the mission as nearing completion.

Trump also said responsibility for securing the Strait of Hormuz should shift to allied countries that depend on it, calling it a manageable task. Nations including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan, and Canada have indicated willingness to help.

Rising tensions have disrupted global energy markets, with oil prices climbing and concerns growing over supply stability. Strikes between Iran and Israel have targeted key energy infrastructure, including the South Pars gas field, escalating fears of broader economic impacts.

Trump warned that further attacks could trigger stronger responses, emphasizing the importance of stabilizing the region and protecting critical energy routes.
