President Donald Trump stirred reactions online after posting around 25 AI-generated sci-fi images on Truth Social featuring aliens, space warfare, and military scenes. One image showed Trump walking beside an alien with Secret Service agents nearby, while another titled “Space Force” depicted him in orbit directing missile strikes from a control panel.
The posts quickly sparked debate, with critics questioning Trump’s behavior and others suggesting the images were meant to draw attention to recently released “UFO files” from the newly renamed Department of War. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said the files were released to increase transparency about Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs).
Online critics, however, accused Trump of using the AI images and UFO discussions as distractions from controversies involving Iran and renewed attention on the Epstein files.
