Before leaving office, Gabbard plans to release findings from several major investigations, including Havana Syndrome, COVID-19, the 2020 election, and alleged government weaponization. Reports say the findings could be released weekly over the next month.<\/p>\n
President Donald Trump said Principal Deputy DNI Aaron Lukas will serve as acting intelligence chief after her departure.<\/p>\n
During her 15 months in office, Gabbard focused on intelligence reforms, declassification efforts, cybersecurity modernization, and removing DEI programs from the intelligence community. She also revoked security clearances for officials accused of abusing public trust.<\/p>\n
Her office released files connected to the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King Jr., as well as documents related to Amelia Earhart and domestic terrorism policies.
